Kicking off Bootstock are DARKWATER - - A new and diverse sound drawing on chunky guitar riffs, metal edges and electronic soundscapes. A Scottish based, electro punk rock band, currently recording their own original material and gigging around the globe.

This is a gig not to be missed as following the release of 1920, Darkwater's new single, things are really hotting up for the Glasgow based band.
BBC Radio Midlands has done a feature and Bruce Dickinson has played 1920 on his show. Here in Scotland, Classic Rock Radio has playlisted them,and they also did a great acoustic session live for Newcastle Metro Radio. To a potential audience of 1 million, top DJ Alan Robson described Darkwater as "the best unsigned band in Britain”!

DONNIE MUNRO
Our first Headliner of the Day. On-stage at 7pm. Donnie Munro is perhaps one of the best known and most evocative voices in the world of Scottish music. Donnie Munro will always be associated with Runrig, as lead singer for most of the 80's and 90's when the band was at its peak. But since leaving the band in 1997, he has gone on to build a highly successful solo career with seven albums to his name so far, the latest being the award winning 'Heart of America' which was released in 2006. www.donniemunro.co.uk

Derek Forbes - Bass: Founding member of Simple Minds. Derek also toured and recorded with Propaganda and Spear of Destiny.
Mick MacNeil - Keyboards/Squeezebox: Founding member of Simple Minds. Mick also toured with The Pretenders.
Ian Donaldson - Vocals: H2O: Scottish/UK band. Formed H20 with Alan McGee,Creation Records boss who discovered Oasis and Primal Scream.
Smiley - Drums: Joe Strummer and The Mescalero's/Archive/Robbie Williams.

TOM HINGLEY - A regular at The Loft, Tom Hingley is the frontman of one of the most influential bands to come out of Manchester, The Inspiral Carpets. As well as maintaining a successful solo career, he also fronts Too Much Texas and The Lovers.
