About Bootstock

The Bootstock Association organise two annual Charity music festivals to help fund educational opportunities for disadvantaged children in the most remote regions of Nepal.

The Bootstock music festival started in 2002 as a small party, and it was so successful that by 2003 the Bootstock Association was formally registered as a Scottish Charity.

Now in its 23rd year, the festival attracts bands and musicians from all over the country, all of whom donate their various talents entirely for free.

Musical styles include traditional, blues, ceilidh and rock.

The Bootstock Association committee is entirely voluntary and so has no administration costs, therefore all the money raised goes directly to our projects in Nepal.
