Bootstock 2017 takes place on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th September at Resolis Memorial Hall (On the Black Isle between Culbokie and Cromarty)

The Festival starts at 8.00pm on Friday and then runs from 2.00pm until midnight on Saturday.

We have another wonderful line up of acts for you this year, and there really is something for everyone. Remember folks, all the musicians are giving their time entirely for free, so please come along and support them.

Back by popular demand following their Bootstock debut in 2016, The Low Down are our headline act on Saturday night.

We are delighted to welcome Wilson Noble to the Bootstock stage on Saturday 9th September. His music has been likened to the voices of Paulo Nutini and Adam Holmes and to the energy of Bruce Springsteen on stage. His superb new single ‘Heartspace’ is released here

‘Gritty, Sensitive, Powerful Music for a World in Change’

Following the release of his debut album ‘Wasted Days’, Calum Mackenzie Jones is taking the music world by storm. Influences from Folk, Country, Blues, Traditional and Celtic Rock ensure a varied performance which appeals to a wide audience.

Calum’s debut single “Your Man” was showcased by Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2

“Just the 2 of us” are Abbie Nye & Neve Paterson. This young Buckie duo got together in Feb 2017. They play regularly with the Buckie High School fiddle group, the Moray Music Centre senior orchestra & the Strathspey Fiddlers. They were recent finalists at Speyfest Young entertainer of the year 2017. They play Scottish, modern & classical.

Civil Punk is a Scottish rock, metal, grunge and punk band playing their own material and some well-known covers.

Since forming in 2014 they’ve played around the country in halls, community centres, city clubs and festivals, and have a growing following in Scotland and further afield on social media.

The Friday night line up includes Airrade, a  five piece Hard Rock and Blues Rock band from The North of Scotland.

Also on the Friday night bill are Vegas Hed Thug. Quite simply, rock with a mind of its own. Here is a clip of the VHT at Bootstock 2016.

Enjoy the voices of the young and talented Songbirds, who we are delighted to welcome back to Bootstock this year.

Acoustic duo Nelson’s Mandola play a set of original tunes on guitar and mandola, usually with a complex time signature thrown in to keep the audience on their toes.
