The Bootstock Association is a registered Scottish Charity which organise an annual music festival to help fund educational opportunities for disadvantaged children in the poorest and most remote regions of Nepal. We are also the official UK partner of Mitrata Nepal Foundation, a Nepal based NGO which helps underprivileged children and orphans.
Thanks so much to all who contributed to the fabulous 2018 Bootstock Festival over the weekend. We raised a total of £3,250 during this year’s event, bringing our grand total to £100,000 since starting out in 2002. It’s been a fantastic journey, and your support has been inspirational.
Author, broadcaster, wilderness hiker, and mountaineer Cameron McNeish is one of the leading authorities on outdoor pursuits in Scotland. Cameron is also a regular visitor to Nepal and has been supporting the Bootstock Association with several projects.
“It’s a great cause and I’m very interested in the work that Bootstock is doing in such a remote part of the world.”
