The Bootstock Association is a registered Scottish Charity which organise an annual music festival to help fund educational opportunities for disadvantaged children in the poorest and most remote regions of Nepal.
NEWS UPDATE – 7th JUNE 2023
We are delighted to announce that the Bootstock Festival will return following a four year break due to Covid. Look out for some very exciting news coming in the next few weeks.
Bootstock On Top Of The World
Bootstock reached a new high point when our great friend Prem Magar reached the summit of Mt Everest in May 2019. Bootstock has supported Prem through school, then helped him achieve the highest mountaineering qualifications in Nepal. He has repaid us by brilliantly managing several of our projects, and has been kind enough to take Bootstock to the very top of the world! Thank you all for your support, and congratulations to Prem.
Cameron McNeish
Author, broadcaster, wilderness hiker, and mountaineer Cameron McNeish is one of the leading authorities on outdoor pursuits in Scotland. Cameron is also a regular visitor to Nepal and has been supporting the Bootstock Association with several projects.
“It’s a great cause and I’m very interested in the work that Bootstock is doing in such a remote part of the world.”
