Bootstock

The Bootstock Association is a registered Scottish Charity which organises TWO annual music festivals to help fund educational opportunities for disadvantaged children in the poorest and most remote regions of Nepal.

NEWS UPDATE – 27th July 2025

We are delighted to announce that the north Bootstock Festival will be back at the Raigmore Motel, Inverness, on Saturday 13th September 2025.

Our other festival, Bootstock in the Borders is held the following weekend, on Saturday 20th September 2025 at the Traquair Village Hall, south of Innerleithen.

Bootstock On Top Of The World

Bootstock reached a new high point when our great friend Prem Magar reached the summit of Mt Everest in May 2019. Bootstock has supported Prem through school, then helped him achieve the highest mountaineering qualifications in Nepal. He has repaid us by brilliantly managing several of our projects, and has been kind enough to take Bootstock to the very top of the world! Thank you all for your support, and congratulations to Prem.
